Residual Pressure Valve 4 lb., Gold

Wilwood's residual pressure valves help keep a minimal amount of pressure in the system to eliminate excessive pedal travel the next time you step on the pedal. These pressure valves are rated by PSI and Wilwood makes several of them.

This four-pound valve, in gold anodized, can benefit high-vibration brake systems like off-road or dirt circle track racing. A ten-pound residual pressure valve compensates for strong return spring tension with drum brakes, and the two-pound valve is used in disc brake applications where the master cylinder is mounted below the horizontal plane of the calipers.

Residual Pressure Valves are made from billet aluminum and color-coded for easy identification. Valves are available with or without additional fittings. Valves with fittings are supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/8-24 inverted flare female fittings that will fit most domestic 3/16th hard brake lines.
